V.M.K. Gopal
President

Gopal is the founder and President of Ranergy Solutions Private Limited. He has over fifteen years of proven technical and business experience in the Energy industry. He has worked for leading consulting firms and has experience consulting for a number of investor-owned and municipal utilities in the US. He also has experience working as a senior Management Personnel in Electric utilities, driving the adoption of technology, leading critical IT implementations and shaping the IT strategy of utility companies.

Gopal is passionate about the clean-tech industry and the potential in India for solar energy. He is committed to leading Ranergy to be an innovative market leader in the implementation of highly efficient, robust smaller size solar power plants in the range of 5 KW to 5 MW.

Gopal has a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters in Computer Science and completed his Executive MBA from Virginia Tech.

Srinivas Mohan
Vice-President (Projects)

Srinivas has over four years of experience in the clean tech industry. He has extensive and in-depth technical and commercial knowledge on Solar PV systems, both off-grid and on-grid. He has hands-on experience designing and leading the implementations of a number of off-grid and on-grid solar PV systems, from 1 kw to 5 MW utility-scale systems. He has also been called upon by various utility-scale Solar PV developers to audit their existing sites and come up with recommendations to increase the energy yield of the plant.

Srinivas is committed to increasing the share of Solar energy in the Indian energy sector and to building Ranergy to be one of the leading Solar systems integrators in India.

Srinivas has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from AdiParashakthi College of Engg, Tamil Nadu.

Mr. Nagi Reddy
Director

Mr. Nagi Reddy is the founder and Chairman of Nu-Tech group of companies, a leading real-estate builder in Chennai. He is passionate about the renewable energy sector and serves as a Director of Ranergy, guiding it under his able supervision to achieve its vision of being a leading contributor to adding more Solar energy to the energy mix in India.

Mr. V.M. Kannappan
Director

Mr. Kannappan is the founder of Senthil Estates, a leading real-estate firm in Chennai. He has also served as Senior Manager in Canara Bank. He is instrumental in the formation of Ranergy and guides the company in evolving strategies for the long-term and in achieving its near-term targets and aspirations.
